My father decided to join me for the first two weeks in Taiwan, so after buying our plane tickets and getting my accommodations ready we set off to fly across the world. Our flights to Taiwan were fun but so tiring. When booking my flights, there was no possible way for me to go from my hometown of Miami, Florida U.S to Taichung via a direct flight. So, I had to take three flights there. Our first flight took me from Miami Internatinal Airport to the Atlanta, Georgia airport. From there, my Dad and I flew to Seoul, Soth Korea where we had the wonderful oppurtunity to explore a little bit of the city and try some South Korean dishes.
While in Seoul, my Dad and I decided to go visit the Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace to watch the traditional changing of the guards. While we were there we saw many women and men wearing traditional Korean Hanbok. The ceremony was so exciting and beautiful to watch. After taking at least 1 million pictures, my Dad and I decided to visit Insa-dong. Although we had visited so early that most stores were closed, we still had a lot of fun shopping and looking at the unique buildings! After Seoul we finally made our way to Taiwan, landing in Taichung International Airport.
